St. Urho’s Day @ The Depot

Hyvää Pyhän Urhon Päivää (Happy St. Urho’s Day)! Beltrami County Historical Society welcomes you to its St. Urho’s Celebration on Friday, March 17 at the Beltrami County History Center, 130 Minnesota Ave. SW., Bemidji.

Visitors to the History Center wearing traditional green (for the grasshoppers) AND purple (for the grapes) will receive free admission to the museum from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday.  At 12:00 PM, join local historians and past members and descendants of members of the former Bemidji St. Urho’s Club to learn and celebrate St. Urho’s legend.  Traditional Finnish treats will be available (or bring your family recipe to share!).
