Gardening 101 | Harmony Co – Op

Get ready for the growing season with Jill Pederson and Randy Olson of Merry Gardens Farm! Join us for tips, tricks, and Q&A with two of Harmony’s best-known local organic growers on Thursday, April 24th at 5:30 PM!

This class is for beginners or experienced gardeners since we will be covering gardening basics like soil health, preparation, amendments, planting, growing and tending, pest measures, etc. We will choose a few common vegetables as examples on how to get them going and keep them going in the garden.

Since we never stop learning as gardeners, we have the opportunity with this class to learn from each other. This class is as much an open discussion for everyone to share what they know and have found works when growing vegetables and/or encountering gardening challenges.
