The first Paul Bunyan event was in 1991. This year’s Bemidji, MN, event will be held on Lake Bemidji, at the waterfront, adjacent to the statues of “Paul Bunyan and Babe” and the Chamber of Commerce Building. This has become an enduring event for the city of Bemidji. Bolstered by several local civic organizations and community sponsors, this opportunity has drawn an ever-increasing number of enthusiastic anglers and volunteers!
