Deer Hunting Season

PERMIT AREA 184

Does it get any better than deer hunting in the beautiful north woods! The Hunting Area 184, in and around Bemidji, starts November 9th and runs through November 24th. The area includes much of southern Beltrami and a portion of northern Hubbard Counties and lies on the western edge of the boreal forest. The area is designated as Managed with a 2 deer limit and has over 470 square miles of Public Hunting Lands. In 2018 the area had a 41% Hunter Success Rate, with a Total Harvest of 6,388.
