Trampled by Turtles with Frankie Lee

November 15, 2019
Sanford Center 8:00 PM

Tickets

On Wild Animals, Trampled by Turtles’ seventh studio album, themes of impermanence run deep, both lyrically and sonically. The quintet’s hybrid folk sound continues its evolution pushing the band further into the grey area between genres that defies pigeonholing.

Frankie Lee, is a hidden-gem songwriter that many local music fans believe should be more famous — but who has a lot of famous friends, and doesn’t seem to want that for himself — Lee has been ubiquitous over the past decade-plus in the Twin Cities music scene. -Star Tribune
