Join the Itasca park naturalists on this early spring hike searching for birds during spring migration. The 6.5 mile hike travels through the south section of Itasca State Park. This section of trail is a rolling glacial landscape with views of many lakes.

A fun, toe-tapping musical based on the classic Grimm’s fairy tale about a poor shoemaker and his wife who donate their last pair of shoes to a poor beggar woman, leaving just one more chance to turn common leather into shoes. During the next 3 nights, a group of 5 elves enter and magically transform leather into an exquisite pairs of shoes. Each group pays it forward in helping those less fortunate, proving that hard work is the secret to making dreams and wishes come true. In the spirit of playing it forward, each child in attendance will receive a free children’s book courtesy donations from area businesses and the public.
