FAT BIKE RALLY
March 3rd, 2018
Mark your calendar to be here, March 3 at Lake Bemidji State Park! There will be both a 10K and a 28K route, but this event is not just for experienced fat bikers. Those unfamiliar with this new winter sport can check out various fat bikes, talk with fat bike experts and take a short spin in the snow on one of the bikes. Live music, food and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Celebrate St Patrick’s Day downtown Bemidji at the World’s Shortest Parade! Parade route – all 78 paces- starts at the Keg n Cork, 1st Irish Pub on the Mississippi and ends at Brigid’s Pub. Everyone is invited to dress in their favorite parade regalia and join the parade!!
Then, of course, stay for all the fun at the Pub’s and throughout Bemidji as we celebrate the green!

Celebrate St. Patty’s Day with a 5k or 10K at the Sanford Event Center! All youth ages 15 and under will receive special recognition for completing the race. Chip timing will be done through Hero Timing. Join in the FUN!

The Atlantic Reed Consort — which includes oboe, clarinet, bassoon, bass clarinet and saxophone performers — embraces contemporary music while bringing traditional chamber music composed by Bach, Gershiwin and Ravel to audiences in an unexpected format. The group promotes chamber music through numerous clinics, recitals, public outreach concerts and recordings. The group made its Carnegie Hall debut in January.

Bemidji Symphony Orchestra Concert presents “Woman’s Role.” Cellist Hannah Holman debuts with the BSO in a concert highlighting famous female cellists! Hannah performs Erich Korngold’s Cello Concerto (from the movie Deception), Haydn’s Concerto in D and Mendelssohn’s Songs without Words. Dr. Beverly Everett conducts.
