Tap to Table: Harvesting Maple Syrup

Join naturalist John Fylpaa at Lake Bemidji State Park to learn how to start your own tradition of making maple syrup.
Early spring is generally the peak of the maple sap flow, but sap flow is affected by weather conditions.
Tree tapping will be Saturday, March 30, 1-3:30 p.m.
Collecting and processing the sap will be April 6 and 7 and then again April 13 and 14, 1-3:30 p.m.
Dress to be outdoors, with good boots.
