Minnesota’s Natural History- Pretty good, not bad or just different?
This week we are meeting George Weiblen, Science Director of the Bell Museum and a Professor of Plant & Microbial Biology at the University of Minnesota. His presentation will take us back in time from the Itasca we know today, where North America’s three largest life zones meet, to glaciers and even deeper into Minnesota’s history when ancient seas, massive lava flows, and early forms of life changed Earth’s atmosphere forever.
Meet at the Biome Center at the University of Minnesota Biological Station.
