First Friday Open House Reception

Gallery North will host a First Friday Open House reception on July 3rd for Showcase Artist Colleen Hilts. Colleen started quilting and carving in Anchorage, Alaska 25 years ago. Colleen joined Headwaters Quilters and Bemidji Carving Club in 2004 and has taken many courses in both skills through the years.

Colleen says she has changed her quilting focus to wall hangings. She does hand painting on fabric and thread art to enhance the appearance. Colleen has taught various courses at Gallery North and Headwaters Quilters and is a member of Northern Artists and Watermark Gallery

Featured artist is Gallery North member Elaine Netland. Elaine is a fine art painter of many talents.
