Gather around for “Campfire” Jam, a monthly community play-along for string musicians! This drop-in, INDOOR event invites guitar, ukulele, banjo, and fiddle players of all ages and skill levels to join a cozy circle of strumming, singing, and shared music-making. Led by local musician Mike Naylor, each session features familiar, feel-good songs using a few simple chords—perfect for building confidence and capturing the laid-back charm of a campfire jam. Headwaters even has extra ukuleles on hand – grab and go! Whether you’re strumming your first chords or simply enjoying the rhythm, this is a place for all ages and abilities to connect, play, and sing under the metaphorical stars.
When: 6 pm-7:15 pm Third Fridays of each month to begin January 17, 2025.
Where: Headwaters Music & Arts Performance Hall, 519 Minnesota Ave NW Bemidji
Cost: Suggested free will donation $5
What to Bring: Your instrument and a campfire spirit! Music and music stands provided. Youth under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
