Autumn Wellness in Nature Walk

Lake Bemidji State Park

There are many health benefits of being present in nature. You are more likely to be active, you will become more relaxed, your concentration will improve, your risk of heart disease and high blood pressure will be lowered and your vitamin D levels rise.
Experience these benefits under the vivid autumn leaves as we do a variety of mindfulness activities one of which is a five senses hike along the Rocky Point Trail to the overlook of Lake Bemidji. This paved trail goes through the park’s unique maple and basswood forest and we will be doing a ¾ mile loop.
Meet in the west picnic area of the park. Wear supportive shoes and bring water.
