A River Runs Through Us, Bemidji

On this afternoon off from school, come out to Lake Bemidji State Park and join us on an expedition on a giant National Geographic Map to explore Minnesota’s stretch of the Mississippi River! From Itasca State Park to the Iowa border, the river winds its way north and east before it ever runs south. And the river runs through us, Bemidji! Right through the lake where our town is located.

This activity is suitable for elementary to middle school students and parents are welcome. This activity is well suited to scout groups too!
