ReZume Arts

ReZume Arts is an initiative led by Region 2 Arts Council in response to the direct impact artists are currently experiencing of COVID-related measures. These impacts included event cancellations and showcase opportunities that have limited artists' vital exposure and earning opportunities during these times.

Through ReZume Arts we seek to support increased visibility for artists and offer opportunities for them to connect with potential buyers/patrons. Region 2 Artss Council will use its Zoom platform to convene and facilitate the showcasing of artists across the Region 2 service area, including Beltrami, Hubbard, Clearwater, Mahnomen, and Lake of the Woods counties.
The artists apprear via Zoom, and are invited to share their work either by offering a tour of their studio, conducting an artist demo session, talking about their work while viewers see images of their work, etc. These zoom sessions will be linked to a FB Live event page to increase visibility and invite viewer engagement. The session will be recorded and uploaded to the Regions 2 Arts Council You Tube Channel so new viewers can watch the series at a later time. This can offer a continued presence and showcase opportunity for artists beyond the date of the event.
