Gently rolling hills groomed ofr skating and
classical skiing with trail segments
skirting the scenic Turtle River.
The mild terrain is suitable for beginners,
yet the length of the system allows for a
vigorous workout.
Located about 12 miles N of Bemidji off US
71 N. Two trailhead parking lot accesses.
The south parking lot is on
Woodhaven Road off off Island View
Dr/County Rd 22. The north parking
access is off Gull Lake Rd/County Rd 23,
then one mile down the Three Island County
Park road.
Trails are available for hiking/biking
during summer/fall with caution that some
trail sections can be soft and wet. |
