classically groomed trail nestled along
north shore of Lake Bemidji and through
virgin pine forest.
Warming shelter in visitor center is open
daily. Candlelight ski tour held annually.
Trailhead parking - MN State Park Vehicle
Permit required.
Home to the northern trail head for the
110-mile, paved, Paul Bunyan State Trail is
also within the Park for
summer/fall biking, hiking and in-line
skating.

N on Bemidji Ave N/County Rd 21, then 2
miles E on Birchmont Beach Rd/County Rd 20
