Itasca State Park is located from Bemidji about 30 miles S and W
on US Hwy 71 to East park entrance. Large area of natural lakes and woods
surrounding the source of the Mississippi River. Warming shelter,
and xc ski trail information available at Jacob Brower Visitor Center weekends and holidays during winter season.
State Park Vehicle Permit required to
enter Park. Many
trails are groomed for skating,
many for classical striding, some trails are groomed for both. |
