Northern Pike Fishing in Minnesota

Big Turtle Lake is a 1,436 acre lake with a maximum depth of 45 feet.  There is a public access on the west side off county road 15.  Big Turtle Lake has a 24" - 36" protected slot for northern pike.  This regulation will be reviewed in 1012.  Besides northern pike, Big Turtle has a diversity of fish.  Walleye, yellow perch, bluegill, black crappie, largemouth bass, rock bass and pumpkinseed sunfish reside in the lake.
