Big Moose is 568 acres with a maximum depth of 71 feet.  There is a public access on the south side of the lake.  It is a deep, clear, irregular shaped lake. The is populated with bluegill, black crappie, largemouth bass, walleye and northern pike.  Other species in the lake are pumpkinseed sunfish, black crappie, hybrid sunfish, yellow perch and rock bass.
