PAUL BUNYAN AND BABE AS AMBASSADORS

Paul Bunyan and Babe enjoy participating in area events.  Over the years Paul has donned a Lumberjack-sized hard hat, (during construction of the Tourist Information Center) stocking cap (now on display in TIC) and Babe has worn sleigh bells around his neck during The Night We Light winter celebration.  Below are a few photos of the dynamic duo participating in other area events and welcoming visitors to the First City on the Mississippi.

Paul Bunyan Vintage Car Club
Members tour Bemidji once a week 
during summer months. Funds raised 
by the club are donated to local charities.

Paul and Babe received Villager Name Tags from staff of Concordia Language Villages.  The staff and interns made the name tags as the language center celebrates its first "Wear your Tag Day" to encourage all language camp students and staff to wear the name tags worn during summer classes on the first Monday in February.  They hope wearing of name tags will become an annual event, no matter where the students are in the world.
