This scenic trail is
located entirely on private property
within the Buena
Vista Ski Area and uniquely crosses the Continental Divide.
A chalet with snack bar, toilets and large
stone fireplace available on weekends and
holiday breaks.
Located from Bemidji 12 miles N on
Irvine Ave N/County Rd 15.
The challenging hills make it most suitable
for intermediate to expert skiiers. Trails
are wide and groomed for skating and
classical styles. The trails east of County
Road 15 (13k) are somewhat more gentle,
while trails on west side (12k) are
technically more difficult.
Site of
annual 16K Snojourn, 46K MN
Finlandia Ski Marathon and
high school meets.
Buena Vista trails are open
for public use during winter ski season
