A great Minnesota Fishing Lake

Balm Lake is a 512 acre lake with a maximum depth of 33 feet.  There is a public access on the north end off of state aid Hwy 32.  The lake is managed for bluegill, walleye and largemouth bass.  Bluegill abundance is above average.  Pumpkinseed sunfish and black crappie are also abundant.  Other fish in this lake are black and brown bullhead, hybrid sunfish, yellow perch, rock bass and northern pike.
